[Good News] The newly added argon system for the Xiangyu Salt & Chemical Air Separation Tail Gas Comprehensive Utilization Project has been successfully topped out.

Around 6 p.m. on July 14, with the final cold-box shell being installed in place, the argon tower was successfully topped out, marking a significant milestone in the construction of the new argon system project. The project adds argon production equipment to the existing 35,000 Nm³/h air separation unit, enabling the refining, purification, and recovery of argon that was previously discharged as waste gas, and producing high-purity liquid argon products.

Scientifically coordinated planning ensures schedule progress, while tackling tough challenges boosts efficiency. Since the project’s commencement, Xiangyu Salt & Chemical and Sichuan Air Separation Group have joined forces to directly confront multiple challenges, including stringent requirements for equipment installation accuracy, intricate and complex process pipelines, and the compounded risks of high-altitude, high-temperature operations. By optimizing construction plans, streamlining resource allocation, strengthening process control, and adopting modular construction methods, the companies have advanced the entire project lifecycle with high quality while ensuring construction safety. This has truly achieved an organic integration of safety, quality, and efficiency, laying a solid foundation for the successful commissioning of the subsequent argon system.
