Railway-Enterprise Collaboration Ushers in a Strong Start for Xiangyu Salt Chemical’s Rail Freight Operations

Production remained uninterrupted throughout the Spring Festival holiday, with logistics and transportation playing a pivotal role. Faced with severe storage capacity constraints at the company, the Sales Headquarters, under the strong leadership of the Party Committee, worked closely with the railway and warehousing & transportation departments to meticulously plan and scientifically schedule operations. As a result, during the Spring Festival period, the average daily number of railcar shipments exceeded 17, with daily rail freight volume surpassing 1,000 tons—both record highs for the Hunan–Chongqing region—marking a strong start to the Year of the Horse.

To fully leverage the railway’s advantage in balanced freight dispatch, company leadership has repeatedly led the Sales Headquarters in engaging in extensive communication and coordination with the Heavy Rail Logistics Center and Wanzhou Station, thereby establishing a routine mechanism for rail–enterprise collaboration. This has facilitated the smooth flow of information, deepened mutual understanding, and enhanced operational efficiency. In particular, following the conclusion of the general contracting agreement, the railway has proactively sought to understand the company’s rail transportation needs and has assisted in formulating and implementing car-assignment plans.

To expand our presence in the Southwest market and ensure efficient product delivery during the Spring Festival, the Sales Headquarters’ business units proactively engaged with customers, meticulously planned and confirmed rail shipment schedules, assigned specific responsibilities to individual team members, and coordinated closely with the Storage and Transportation Department to optimize daily loading operations. As a result, rail and maritime transport were seamlessly integrated, enabling nearly all ammonium chloride products to be shipped directly from the warehouse upon arrival during the Spring Festival period.
